Homemade Turkey Burgers & Crack Sauce with a Twist

As you guys know, I'm loving finding new, quick, easy, tasty, healthy recipes to share with you all!

The newest of the bunch are these gorgeous turkey burgers and crack sauce with a twist.

The turkey burgers must be the simplest ever to make! I mean, so easy it's ridiculous!

Anyone can make them!

You will need some turkey mince (go figure! ha!) half an onion and some basil or oregano. Or basically, whatever herb you fancy!

Chop the onion up finely, mine still ends up quite chunky, haha! Then literally mix the turkey mince and onion all together - you may need to get your hands into this one! Sometimes it's so much easier then faffing around with a spoon! Sprinkle your herbs in. My case Basil, and lots of!

Then make some patties out of the mix. I made four chunky ones, but I could of spread them out further to make maybe six.

Then pop them under the grill or in the oven. My favorite to use is still my George Foreman Grill. (find one here). I've had it ages now and absolutely love it! Everything cooks so quickly and I love to see how much grease and crap drips out! Gross lol!

OK, so while they're cooking away, make the crack sauce! I actually got this from Lauryn Evarts who writes the fab blog The Skinny Confidential (and one of my favourite blogs!) -  Lauryn shared the crack sauce on her snapchat the other day and I had to give it a go! I added a couple of my own ingredients too!

You will need -
*Basil
*Chilli Flakes
*Balsamic Vinegar
*Garlic
*Olive oil
- I cheated and used garlic oil instead!
- I added cherry tom's and onions to it too

Mix the garlic oil and balsamic together, sprinkle in the chilli flakes & basil.

Give it all a good stir.

Then add in finely chopped cherry tom's & onion.

Absolutely delicious! I'm salivating at the thought! I'm gonna have to make some more up tonight!

Once the turkey burgers are cooked, serve up - I put mine on a bed of lettuce and dolloped a whole load of the crack sauce on top

-served with some brown rice on the side too!

I made sure there were extra chilli flakes, balsamic and basil on the table, as I had to go a little easy with the chilli flakes,
I'm a bit more of a fan then Mark is!

Enjoy!
