Following on from yesterdays post, Saturday was again a bit of a 'jobs' day as we needed to get new tyres fitted on the car (the glamour! lol).
As we had a few hours to kill before they could be fitted we headed over to RAK Mall.
We've lived up in Ras Al Khaimah now for about a year and a half and have never ventured to this mall. To my surprise it's really nice and has much more of a modern feel to it then the other malls we usually visit in Ras Al Khaimah.
Matalan has recently opened up there, so we thought we'd check it out. OMG! It's massive. It has Women's, Men's, Children and Home sections. We had a really good browse and both picked up some purchases!
Hubby got some new polo shirts for Mufti Day and was very tempted by their swimming shorts, as they had so many fab designs, but we couldn't decide which to get lol!
I managed to bag myself these fab denim dungarees! I've been after some for ages and haven't been able to find any that fitted me perfectly. I love the stone wash of these and slightly frayed in places. They're not too short and fit nicely around the leg. I got a bigger size, so they stay loose. I don't think dungarees should be too tight. Also, allowing space so I'm able to wear slightly thicker tops underneath, so I can still wear them into the cooler months.
Along, with my perfect dungarees I got myself these fab denim shorts. I absolutely love denim shorts and live in them here! These are dark denim with a turn up and had 50% off! Fan-bloody-tastic!
We resisted any doughnut purchases, but did head over to the corniche for a Costa. Skinny latte accompanied by a mahusive slice of cheesecake! Sorry no pics, I demolished it before I could get my phone out of my bag! Lol! I did take a little snap of the water along the corniche though. We did try to get some outfit posts, but it was quite windy and so blimin' hot, we couldn't stand out for too long!
We got the tyres fitted, but had a bit of a panic when it came to payment as they didn't take credit cards! Cash only! Seriously, who takes cash only these days, especially in a tyre place!? Not many people walk around with 500 quid on them do they? Well, maybe in the UAE lol. Luckily, they were really nice and let us come back later with the cash! Phew..
