OK, so this pasta hasn't quite got 'everything' in it, but I just couldn't think of a name for it, haha.
The dish came about by pretty much seeing what I had in the cupboards and 'throwing it all in!'.
I'm really chuffed how it turned out, tbh it's not the prettiest of meals lol, but very tasty and of course in the usual 'Suncream and Sparkles' fashion, extremely simple and easy to make! (also, you've probably already got the ingredients floating around your cupboards as well!)
You will need..... Pasta, onion, garlic, chilli flakes, tomato purée, cherry toms, broccoli and tuna.
Chop up your onion and garlic and put them in a bowl. Chop the cherry toms and put in a separate bowl. Pop the broccoli in the microwave (I used frozen broccoli so wanted to cook it a bit first). Put some some pasta on the boil.
In another pan on the hob heat a little olive oil. You can use garlic olive oil like me for that extra kick! Then add your onion and chopped garlic, give it a stir so all the oil is covering. Squeeze in some tomato purée and stir all together.
Pour in some water, not too much, around 150ml and sprinkle in chilli flakes. I have loads as I like the spice, but just add a little at a time for your own preference. Remember you can always add more, but not take it away!
Once the broccoli is cooked drain and pop it in with the chilli tomato mix. Then add a small tin of tuna. Stir it all up and cook for a further 5 mins or so, till the 'water' starts reducing away. You don't want it watery and runny!
When the pasta's cooked, drain and mix with the 'sauce'. Add chilli flakes and black pepper to taste.
Nice and easy! Let me know if you give it a try!
